Original vintage drink advertising poster for Valdespino - Always Valdespino's Sherry - featuring a fun and colourful image of two smiling matador bullfighters holding glasses of sherry with a bull below against a festive background. Dating back to 1264 Valdespino is one of the oldest bodegas in Jerez; Alfonso Valdespino was given the land for being one of 24 knights who fought with King Alfonso X against the Arabs for the city of Jerez; the company is now owned by the Estevez family (since 1999). Printed by TG Ilaguer, Barcelona. Good condition, staining, small paper losses, trimmed edges.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
