Original vintage travel advertising poster for Sabena to promote the new Douglas DC7c Seven Seas plane model used on their services featuring a stylised mid-century modern design of the aircraft on a blue grid airport runway seen from above, with the cockpit and wing of the propeller plane lit by big spotlights and a queue of passengers boarding and walking up the stairs on the side. Printed in Belgium. This poster was published in two parts and is missing the left side of the image, where the slogan and text were displayed. Horizontal. Large size. Good condition, creases and folds on margins.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
