Original vintage F1 motor sport poster for the Monaco Grand Prix 1968 on 25/26 May featuring a dynamic design depicting a green number 9 racing car leading the GP race speeding by Shell advertising boards with a photographer catching the action on the corner and sailing boats moored in the background. Art by the British artist Michael Turner (b. 1934). The 1968 Monaco Grand Prix was won by the British racing driver Graham Hill (1929-1975) for team Lotus Ford in the new Lotus 49B with Richard Attwood in second place and Lucien Bianchi in third place. Horizontal. Printed by J. Ramel, Nice. Very good condition, minor creasing, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
