Original vintage sport poster for the Dolder Eisbahn Zurich ice skating rink open daily from 9-22:30 featuring a great design by the Swiss artist Franco Barberis (1905-1992) depicting ice hockey players on a globe of the world as the ice rink with a Swiss flag flying at the top, set on a blue background with the bold title text in yellow and white above and opening hours below. Built in 1930 the 6,000sqm Dolder open air artificial ice rink is the largest in Europe popular with recreational ice skaters and ice hockey players. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears, minor staining.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
