Original vintage GP motorsport advertising poster for the International World Criterion For The Great Prize Of Scheveningen motorcycle racing event in the Netherlands on 10 June 1939 - Internationaal Wereldcriterium Om Den Grooten Prijs Van Scheveningen - featuring a great illustration of motorbikes and bicycles racing on a sandy beach watched by spectators with colourful beach huts, swimmers and people at the seaside by Scheveningen Pier (1901-1943; the Wandelhoofd Koningin Wilhelmina pier) in the background, the bold title text in stylised lettering above with race details and transport information on the side and below. Good condition, folds, repaired tears, creasing.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
