Original vintage sport event poster for the 5th Gran Canaria Rally for cars and motorcycles on 11 May 1958 organised by the Automobile Club of Gran Canaria. Great artwork depicting a blue convertible car marked 123 on the side speeding down a slope in the foreground with the colourful city of Las Palmas (the capital of the Gran Canaria), in the background leading to the mountains on the horizon, the text in stylised red and black letters with the ACGC and CAP logos and Pirelli sponsor logo. Printed by Lito, A. Romero, S.A., Tenerife. Good condition, restored folds and losses in margins, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
