Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster celebrating the historic Apollo Soyuz Mission in July 1975 - Apollo Союз Место встречи Kосмос Время встречи июль 1975 - featuring a great design depicting the docking of the two spacecraft within a red and blue circle with the white text on the curves above a swirling blue shaded background, the rest of the text below. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project marked the end of the Space Race and the first joint US-Soviet space flight that saw the docking of an American Apollo Command Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19 from 17-19 July crewed by five USSR cosmonauts / American astronauts launching on 15 July and landing on 21 July (Soyuz) and 24 July (Apollo) - Thomas Patten Stafford, Vance DeVoe Brand, Donald Kent Deke Slayton, Alexey Leonov and Valeri Kubasov.Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored folds, restored paper losses, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
