Original vintage Soviet film poster for a joint Soviet-Italian comedy movie Невероятные приключения итальянцев в России / Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Russia (or Una matta, matta, matta corsa in Russia / Crazy, Crazy, Crazy Race in Russia) about a group of Italians who travel to Leningrad (St Petersburg) to try to find treasure hidden under a lion, directed by Franco Prosperi and Eldar Ryazanov and starring Andrei Mironov, Ninetto Davoli, Antonia Santilli and Alighiero Noschese. Fun design depicting characters from the film, some on a sphinx and one bending down to pet a lion below the bold title text, the Peter and Paul Fortress across the Neva river visible in the background above. Good condition, folds, pinholes, creasing, repaired tears.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
