Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the Soviet comedy film Twelve Chairs / 12 стульев about a search for some missing diamonds hidden in a chair, directed by "the king of Soviet comedy" Leonid Gaidai and starring Archil Gomiashvili, Sergey Filippov, Mikhail Pugovkin and Natalya Krachkovskaya. Colourful illustration featuring characters from the film bouncing off a broken spring from a large old black and blue chair with the title in stylised black letters over the top of the chair. Very good condition, cracks in upper half.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
