Original vintage movie poster for the restored version of the 1939 Soviet animated children's film The Golden Key / Золотой ключик (or The Adventures of Buratino / Приключения Буратино) directed by Aleksandr Ptushko and written by Nikolay Leshchenko and Lyudmila Tolstaya based on a fairy tale story by Aleksey Tolstoy about a Pinocchio boy made of wood called Buratino (meaning Puppet in Italian). Fun design depicting a smiling wooden boy with a pointed nose wearing a blue and white outfit and a red and white striped hat, holding up a gold key in one hand against a deep red background, standing on a decorative border with the title text in stylised red letters and credits below. Good condition, folds, tears, paper losses, creasing, pinholes, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
