Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the 1970 Azerbaijani drama film Семеро сыновей моих / Yeddi Ogul Istaram / My Seven Sons written by Jusif Samed Ogly based on The Komsomol Poem by Samed Vurgun about the Soviets overtaking Azerbaijan during the 1920s, starring Hasan Mammadov, Anvar Hasanov and Elcin Mammadov. Great design showing silhouettes in red of soldiers on horses in front of large bullet shapes with a dark and threatening face depicted in shades grey and black in the background, the title along the bottom margin in stylised red letters. Horizontal. Very good condition, folded as issued, faint stains.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
