Fighter Pilots
Original rare USSR movie poster for a pre-World War Two film about the Soviet Air Force. Produced by the Kiev film studio in 1939, this is a sound production about the outstanding people of Soviet Aviation as specified in the caption on this poster. Great image of two pilots in the uniform and planes performing acrobatic stunts in the air. Artwork by the renowned Soviet artist and graphic designer Yakov Ruklevsky (1884-1965). Very good condition, minor soiling on the bottom right corner, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
