The Needle Viktor Tsoi Kino New Wave
Original vintage movie poster for a Soviet thriller film The Needle (Игла / Igla) directed by Rashid Nugmanov and starring the Soviet rock musician from the band Kino Viktor Tsoi (Viktor Robertovich Tsoy; 1962-1990) as the main character Moro and Marina Smirnova as his drug addicted girlfriend Dina; one of Kazakhstan's first new wave films. Colourful artwork featuring the character Moro wearing fashionable 1980s clothing and sunglasses with gloves, standing under a scorching desert sun with a lady lying down and man sitting on the cracked dry earth behind him, a statue and shipwreck visible in the background and the title text in tall blue letters in the foreground, the letter L stretched out as the shadow of Moro. Horizontal. Good condition, printing defect resulting in slight doubling of image, creases in margins.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
