Original vintage poster in German advertising HAPAG Weltreise 1933 (world cruises 1933) on the luxury liner Resolute - dreischrauben luxus dampfer from 7 January to 18 May, Hamburg-America Line. Great image of oriental temples in Asia (India?). The Resolute (1914-1947) was a three funnelled steam ship used as a luxury cruise liner by Hapag from 1928-1935. The ship was converted by the Italian Government into troop transport, participating in the Abyssinian War, delivering troops to Ethiopia and was involved in the Spanish Civil War. During World War Two, the ship was used as a troop transport. During Allied bombing raid on Naples, the ship was hit and sunk. The complete demolition of the vessel took place in 1947 in La Spezia. What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
