Fairground
Original vintage fairground poster. These posters are quite rare and were displayed in windows and around fairgrounds. Printed 1930s by Wilson's Show Printers in Leicester. Image shows crowds of adults and children enjoying themselves on the old fashioned fun fair rides with a lady in a bumper car featured at the front right corner. Horizontal. Very good condition. Unfaded bright colours. Looks like this lithograph poster wasn't displayed outside. Pinholes on margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
