Original vintage winter sport poster for the 8. Interski Aspen Colorado USA 1968 19-28 April. Great design depicting two skiers in red skiing down a slope across each other to form the number 8 in the snow with the text below. The popular ski resort of Aspen is located in the Rocky Mountains are of Colorado America. Organised by Interski (founded 1951) the 8th International Ski Congress for Ski Instruction was held in Aspen as the association's first meeting outside Europe to discuss techniques and develop snow sports; this international event is now held every four years hosted by different countries. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper loss in top right corner, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
