Original vintage Soviet movie poster for a comedy film made in Czechoslovakia - Angel in the Mountains - about three young employees from the Spofana Company who are rewarded for excellent work with a holiday in the mountain resort of Tatranska Lomnica where they meet the controller of the Prague Transport Company who mistakes one of the girls as the fiancee of his son. Fun illustration depicting a skier looking out from a cable car cabin with his skis and poles standing out from the other window, snowy mountains against the blue sky in the background, the title below in stylised black letters. Good condition, folds, creases and minor tears, browning on bottom left corner.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
