Original vintage winter sport alpine ski event poster for the Women's Slalom World Cup 1987 / Weltcup Slalom Damen 1987 organised by the International Ski Federation FIS Federation Internationale de Ski (founded 1924), held in Fluhli Entlebuch in the Lucerne region of Switzerland on 15 February 1987. Dynamic design by the studio of the Swiss graphic designer Niklaus Troxler (b. 1947) featuring a downhill skier in action zooming down a slope in colourful red and yellow lines against a blue background. Large size. Very good condition, minor creasing.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
