1968 NCAA Ski Championships
Original vintage sports poster promoting the 1968 NCAA Ski Championships held from 21-23 March at the Steamboat Springs ski resort in Colorado, hosted by Denver University with the Colorado Alpine College and the Air Force Academy featuring a colourful design depicting a stylised image of an alpine skier on a spiralling psychedelic background in bright pink and blue stripes in a circle, the title above and with the logos below - Only Frontier Airlines flies to Steamboat Springs The airline that knows the West Best. The National Collegiate Athletic Association was founded in 1954; this 15th annual event was won by the University of Wyoming followed by the University of Denver ski team in second place and Dartmouth College in third place. Frontier Airlines was founded in 1950 as a merger between Arizona Airways, Challenger Airlines and Monarch Airlines; the company was declared bankrupt in 1986; the new low fare Frontier Airlines was formed in 1994. Very good condition, creasing, tears.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
