Original vintage poster for the Crafts and Industry Exhibition / Handwerks und Industrie Ausstellung in Oslo Norway from 12 May to 18 September 1938. Fantastic Art Deco illustration by the Norwegian artist Harald Damsleth (1906-1971) depicting a colourful harbour scene with crowds of people, flags, sailing boats and a propeller plane with the stylised text below. Very good condition, restored folds and minor tears, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
