Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster - To the Leninist labour watch! / На трудовую Ленинскую вахту! - featuring a colourful design by the notable Soviet poster artists Vladimir Sachkov (1928-2005) and Eduard Artsrunyan (1929-2010) depicting a portrait of Lenin and stylised images in red and white of wheat, factories, fields and tractors representing socialist progress in industry and agriculture with a lady wearing goggles over her green headscarf and worker overalls, operating a large wheel, the bold text in red on the side below. Good condition, creasing, tears, pinholes, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
