Road Safety Running Between Cars
Original vintage road safety and traffic accident prevention poster issued by the Australian Road Safety Council (Embodying all State Road Safety Councils), promoting children's safety and welfare, featuring an illustration of a smiling man in a brown hat, smoking a pipe and holding a digging fork with mud splatters on his clothes, standing on the side with smaller images of a young girl running in between the traffic and in front of cars with the text - This is my Daddy He says it's not safe for me to run out between cars He says if the motor car driver can't see me, I could be hurt! I think he's right - don't you? Life is so precious - set on a green background with the stop hand and warning triangle sign logo below. Good condition, creasing, tears.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
