The Infantry Boys' Battalion was formed in 1952 for the education and military training of young apprentices, becoming The Infantry Junior Leaders Battalion in 1954; now The Army Apprentice College part of the British Army (since 1998). The Junior Leader in the photo might be Lt Colonel Ian Cartwright who joined in 1952. Printed for HM Stationery Office by Rapkin & Co. Ltd., London. Good condition, folds, creasing, staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
