Original vintage Soviet victory propaganda poster issued in 1945 at the end of World War Two featuring a dynamic design by the notable cartoonist and Bolshevist agitpop poster artist V Deni (Viktor Nikolaevich Denisov aka Viktor Deni; 1893-1946) of the communist leader of the Soviet Union Josef Stalin (1878-1953) in uniform in front of a bold red image of the Moscow Kremlin flying a red flag of victory below the red star - Pobeda! / победа - with the USSR hammer and sickle on it, the Russian slogan in red letters below: Long Live Generalissimos Stalin, the Great Leader and Commander of the Soviet people! Good condition, restored tears, folds and minor paper loss on margin, faint writing and pencil mark in top right of poster, light foxing, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
