Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster commemorating USSR Navy Day (celebrated annually on the last Sunday of July) featuring a military design showing a sailor on the left side in navy uniform with a large turn-down collar, blue and white striped top and a sailor's cap with ribbons flying in the wind, holding a machine gun and standing in front of a Soviet Navy flag in white and blue with a hammer and sickle and a red star on it, the right side depicting two ships and a submarine at sea ship with fighters jet planes flying against the cloud background, the bold red text and logo above. Horizontal. Very good condition, fold, creasing.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
