The Chinese communist revolutionary leader Mao Zedong (1893-1976) published three short essays before founding the People's Republic of China PRC in 1949 - 為人民服務 Serve The People (1944), 紀念白求恩 In Memory Of Norman Bethune (1939) and 愚公移山 The Foolish Old Man Who Removed The Mountains (1945) - promoting the Chinese Communist Party concepts of serving the people, helping others and the benefits of hard work. Published by Yancheng Cultural Revolution Committee of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers. Horizontal. Very good condition, minor creasing.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
