Original vintage Soviet film poster for an award winning documentary directed by Yury Ozerov of the opening and closing ceremonies and some of the sporting events at the Summer 1980 Olympic Games held in Moscow entitled Oh Sport You Are Peace / О спорт, ты - мир! featuring pictograms of the fencing, weight lifting, boxing, swimming and rowing events depicted inside the red Olympic rings below the Moscow Games logo as race tracks leading towards a red star at the top forming the eye of a white dove of peace holding an olive branch in its beak, its outspread wings in a movie film pattern with the title on the blue background above. Very good condition, folds, minor tears.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
