The Soviet people step into space Joy to us all! - featuring black and white photographs of two smiling cosmonauts in space suits with CCCP / USSR on their helmets, Pavel Belyayev (1925-1970) and Alexei Leonov (1934-2019), on a blue background with a red star shooting behind them and planet earth below the bold text on the side. Colonel / Oberst Beljajew was commander of the Sunrise / Voskhod 2 space mission in 1965 during which the pilot Lieutenant Colonel / Oberstleutnant Leonow became the first person to leave a spacecraft and take the first spacewalk (12 minutes). Published by the Editors of the Central Board of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship. Good condition, creasing, tears, staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
