Original vintage advertising poster for the 17th Montreux Jazz Festival / Montreux 1983 17eme Festival De Jazz held on 8-24 July featuring a fun and colourful design by the notable American Pop Art and street graffiti artist Keith Haring (Keith Allen Haring; 1958-1990) depicting a figure in orange dancing with movement lines and the body twisted like a spring over a yellow and blue dashed background, the text in bold stylised lettering on the pink frame border below. Founded in 1967, the annual Montreux Jazz Festival is an international music event held in the Swiss Riviera town of Montreux by Lake Geneva in Switzerland. Excellent condition.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
