Original vintage World War Two food propaganda poster - Dig For Victory Your Groundnuts Help to Feed The Empire's Fighting Men - featuring four illustrations by Alfred John Nunney (1897-1966) showing the process of farmers harvesting crops then packing and transporting them by ship at the top, and being processed in a factory and enjoyed by military soldiers eating their rations on a battlefield below, the text between the images and the title in bold red lettering at the bottom. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears on folds, paper browning.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
