Original vintage travel advertising poster featuring a map of the vineyards of France published by the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Wine Propaganda Committee. Great design by Albert Solon (1897-1973) showing the main vineyards and wine growing regions in France and North Africa including Champagne, Val de Loire, Bourgogne, Cognac, Armagnac, Cote du Rhone, Bordeaux, Corsica and Algeria with a red seal marked Wine Happiness Health attached with a blue, white and red ribbon of the French flag, the title above in stylised grey letters. Printed & designed in France by Les Creations Graphiques. Very good condition, small repaired tears on margins, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
