Original vintage lithographic poster for an art exhibition in Paris held at the National Library of France from June to September 1955 featuring the graphic works of Pablo Picasso at the Bibliotheque Nationale entitled Picasso l'oeuvre grave (Juin-Septembre 1955). Image of Picasso's 1904 etching The Frugal Meal / Le Repas Frugal printed in 1913 of a thin man with his arms around a lady sitting behind a table with a small piece of bread and wine for their meal set within border with the text above and below. The notable Spanish artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was one of the founders of Cubism in the early 20th century. Excellent condition, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
