Large original vintage advertising poster for the French manufacturer of motorcycles and bicycles Terrot based in Dijon in eastern France (founded 1887). Dynamic design featuring the brand name across the centre in large letters and a stylised image of a driver speeding through the name on a Terrot motorbike with the front wheel as the letter O and the rest of the text above and below in stylised black and grey letters, a bright background around the grey and white inner spotlight circle. Designed by Havas, Dijon. Printed in France by Imp. Guerin, Dijon. Good condition, restored folds, tears and minor loss, light staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
