Original vintage advertising poster for Lambretta featuring great artwork by the French artist Albert Brenet (1903-2005) showing production workers in a factory with a row of the iconic scooters lined up in the foreground. Founded in 1947, the Italian scooter manufacturer Lambretta was named after the Lambrate suburb of Milan Italy and the mythical water-sprite of the river running by the company's original factory. Large size. Horizontal. Good condition, restored tears, tape marks, restored paper loss, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
