Original vintage car advertising poster issued by the French automobile manufacturer Citroen (founded 1919) featuring a great photograph of a white 1961 Citroen Ami 6 as a partial view through the car showing the rear windshield with the roof trim, doors on the side, the front windscreen wipers and the mirror and steering wheel inside the car. Produced from 1961-1978 as an economy family car, the Citroen Ami 6 was nicknamed 3CV (trois chevaux-vapeur / three horse power); Ami is the French for Friend. Horizontal. Very good condition, browning on edges.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
