Original vintage Soviet movie poster for a family comedy film Two Friends directed by Victor Eysymont based on a book by the popular children's writer Nikolai Nosov (1908-1976) entitled Vitya Maleev in School and at Home. Great image featuring two school boys in red Pioneer scarves carrying their schoolbags and talking on their way home from school, the boy on the left wearing a blue uniform and carrying a football over his shoulder while the boy on the right is dressed in green and is smiling to his friend against a plain background, the title below in stylised bold letters with the credit text. Good condition, folded as issued, creases and cracks on fold lines, pinholes in corners.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
