Original vintage advertising poster for an Yves Saint Laurent: 25 years of design exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This Winter poster (L'Hiver) is one of a series of four posters entitled The Four Seasons (Les Quatres Saisons). Colourful image featuring a paper and ink collage designed especially for the exhibition by the well known French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent (Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent; 1936-2008) depicting a black and white face of a lady against a blue background with the stylised text above and below. Fair condition, tear on top right corner, tape marks on corners, small creases across the image.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
