Original vintage mid-century advertising poster for Tuch AG, a Swiss brand of fashion clothing, featuring a great Napoleon style design by the renowned graphic artist Hans Looser (1919-1988) of a neatly folded white shirt with a cufflink on one arm tucked in the front and a black hat above, against a blue background with the title below in yellow letters. Tuch AG was founded in 1922 by Adrian Schild; in 1972 the company was renamed Schild AG. Printed in Switzerland by Paul Bender, Zollikon-Zürich. Large size. Very good condition, light creases on top and bottom margins.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
