Vintage reproduction poster issued by the Kunstgewerbemuseum Zurich Museum Of Design in 1980 featuring a Constructivist poster designed by the notable artist El Lissitsky (Lazar Markovich Lissitzky; 1890-1941) for a Russian Exhibition / Russische Ausstellung that took place from 24 March to 28 April 1929 depicting two smiling young people above a modern building with the bold text running through the centre and down the side, USSR in red lettering above and the date in white below. Large size. Very good condition, small restored tears, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
