Original vintage advertising poster for an art exhibition of work by the notable Constructivist artist, sculptor, photographer and graphic designer Alexander Rodchenko held at the Museum of Modern Art Oxford 30 Pembroke Street from 11 February to 25 March 1979, featuring images of his artwork with a caption First Show in the West and his initials in Russian in the centre. Александр Родченко (Aleksander Mikhailovich Rodchenko; 1891-1956) was one of the founders of Constructivism known for photomontage and new Russian design. Good condition, creasing, staining, tears.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
