Original vintage movie poster for the screening of the 1926 German silent comedy film Princess Trulala / Prinzessin Trulala at the Majestic Cinema in Antwerp in June 1928 (with a note: Children not admitted). The film was directed by Erich Schonfelder and Richard Eichberg, starring the "sweetest girl in the world" the Anglo-German actress and singer Lilian Harvey (Helene Lilian Muriel Pape; 1906-1968), Dina Gralla and Harry Halm, with the set designed by Kurt Richter. Great image showing a young lady dressed as a music and cabaret artist wearing a feather top hat and short skirt while playing a saxophone in front of a circle spotlight against a modern city skyline depicted in the background, the theatre text above in black letters and the title below: Lilian Harvey dans Petites Femmes de Luxe. Printed in Belgium by Litho P. Verstegen, Brussels. Good condition, folded as issued, small stains, minor paper losses and tears in margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
