Original vintage movie poster for the French release of the classic 1963 Italian film 8½ (Otto e Mezzo) directed by Federico Fellini and starring Marcello Mastroianni, Sandra Milo, Claudia Cardinale and Anouk Aimee. Great design featuring the title in large white numbers against a red background depicting the steel infrastructures for the film's rocket ship set and photograph images of Marcello Mastroianni and Claudia Cardinale in various scenes of the film inside the shape of the digits with a row of ladies sitting on the 1/2 line, the credit text below. Printed in France by Cinemato, Paris. Very good condition, folded as issued, minor tears in bottom and right margins, faint fold and waving in top margin.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
