Original vintage movie poster for the French release of a 1943 American World War Two aviation film about the crew of a bomber plane in Pearl Harbour who are sent to Manila to help with the defence of the Philippines following the Japanese attack - Air Force - directed by Howard Hawks and starring John Garfield, John Ridgely, Gig Young, James Brown, Arthur Kennedy, George Tobias and Harry Carey. Colourful design featuring a characters from the movie, one manning an aerial machine gun in the foreground with a ships and soldiers in a battle scene below and planes and parachutes in the sky next to the bold blue title text, the credits Warner Bros logo in red at the top and down the side. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, browning, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
