Original vintage cinema poster from France for a film, Finance Noir. Stamped with the date 1 May 1943. Starring Marie Dea Jean Max, Alice Field, Jean Servais. Designed by Albert Jorio. Printed by Publicite Albert Jorio, Nice in Monte Carlo. Great Art Deco image of a couple struggling with the background of a fighter plane and money bags falling out of the sky. Folded.
The film was shot in 1940 but not released until November 1943 because of the war. Felix Gandera was credited as "Jacques Vitry" because he was banned by the German occupying authorities.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
