The Art Nouveau style Theatre des Champs Elysees in Paris was opened in 1913. The Leonidoff Ballet was founded by the silent film actor, singer, dancer and choreographer Ileana Leonidoff (Elena Sergeevna Pisarevskaya; 1893-1968) with Aldo Molinari in 1920. Printed by H. Chachoin, Paris. Large size. Good condition, creasing, staining, repaired tears, folds, backed on old linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
