Original antique poster - Great Southern & Western Railway - Paris in London - Imre Kiralfy Director General - Earls Court - May to October 1902. Stunning Art Nouveau style image of a fashionably dressed lady wearing a hat and holding a cane with stylised event information text. Imre Kiralfy (1845-1919) was a renowned theatrical performer and producer who created music and dance spectacles in America and England, first with his brother Bolossy (1848-1932), known as The Kiralfy Brothers until their split in 1887; in 1894 Imre moved from the USA to the UK where he created a series of huge annual spectacles from 1895 at Earls Court. Fair condition, restored stains, tears and minor loss, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
