Original vintage travel advertising poster for the World's Fair in Paris May-November 1937 enchanting art and light - Paris 1937 Exposition Internationale Feerie d'art et de lumiere - featuring a great image of an elegant lady holding an exhibition pavilion topped by flags with the city skyline, Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe in the background, the French flag waving behind her like a cape and the text above and below across the black border. Artwork by the French artists Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) and Paul Bouissoud. Very good condition, light folds, minor staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
