Original vintage advertising poster - Ville De Bruxelles Festival International Des Gardes Exposition Universelle 1935 / City of Brussels International Guards Festival Universal Exposition 1935 - featuring a colourful Art Deco style image above the event information from 7-9 June at the Palais des Beaux-Arts / Palace of Fine Arts showing a parade of guards in military uniform marching and playing music on their musical instruments including a drum, trumpet, clarinet and sousaphone with the stylised lettering above and below. The Brussels Universal Exposition 1935 World's Fair was held from 27 April to 6 November. Printed in Belgium. Good condition, creasing, restored folds, backed on thin linen that started to wave.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
