Large original vintage 1950 advertising poster for the alocholic drink - Campari l'aperitivo - by the renowned poster artist Leonetto Cappiello (1875-1942); this is an official lithograph re-issue of Cappiello's 1921 Bitter Campari design featuring a colourful and fun Art Deco style image of a jester wearing a red and white polka dot outfit with a red cap and holding up a bottle of Campari standing inside an orange peel against a dark background. Very good condition, light folds.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
