Original vintage South America travel poster for Iguazu Argentina featuring a red paddle boat steamer sailing on the Iguazu River with the smoke from the funnel forming the shape of South America against a black background on one side and palm trees at the top of the Iguazu / Iguacu Falls on the other side. The Iguazu Falls (meaning Big Water) is the largest waterfall in the world, a two step staircase falls on the Iguazu River border of the Misiones province in Argentina and Parana state in Brazil. Published by the Direccion Nacional de Turismo / National Directorate of Tourism. Good condition, creasing, tears, paper loss on left edge, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
